SKEMA, in collaboration with PFN, proudly presents the “GBS Festival 2024”, an Indonesian blues music festival under the patronage of Gugun Blues Shelter. This event aims to educate the public on the diverse genres within blues music, such as Folk Blues, Pop Blues, Rock Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Country Blues, Delta Blues, and more, showcasing the rich variety of this timeless genre in a nationwide celebration.

The “GBS Festival 2024” marks the culmination of a series of previous events, designed to discover the next generation of Indonesian blues musicians while featuring a collection of cover songs performed by Gugun Blues Shelter. This festival serves as the grand finale of the “Road to GBS Fest”, which included online competitions for covering GBS songs and offline Friday Blues events.

Held on November 2, 2024, at PFN Heritage, the “GBS Festival 2024” was brought to life with vibrant performances by Gugun Blues Shelter featuring Emmy Tobing, Anov Blues One, Ginda Bestari, Black Horses, Satria The Monster, Rocker Kasarunk, Arya Novanda, Marian, Hey Joe Band, Dandy & The Cosmic, among others. The festival also featured exciting giveaways, including two Delta guitars. The event was met with great enthusiasm and received positive feedback from blues communities and fans across the country, reinforcing its success in bringing together the spirit and soul of Indonesian blues music.
